Anniversary Gifts - His And Hers

His:
A bottle of 1999 Chateau Pibran Pauillac. 1999 wasn't such a good year for fine wines but it sure was a good year for us to get married. This particular bordeaux, I found out from wine-club-central.com, "... exhibits a dense ruby color in addition to a classic Pauillac nose of cedarwood, black currants, underbrush, and new oak. A dense, plush, forward, precocious offering, it is meant to be drunk upon release, and should age nicely for a decade or more..."
Our marriage should age nicely for a decade or more. *heh*
Hers:
A pair of Baroque earrings set in 14ct gold with tiny carbouchon cut garnets. It looks like it could've popped out of a Renaissance painting. I love it.
Wait! That's not all.
She gets this too:
Triple strand freshwater pearls with matching ear studs (not pictured).
People say it's the thought that counts. I love the way my husband thinks.Labels: home life
